6th February: AGM, Planning Meeting and Members’ Photos of Favourite Gardens.
5th March: Talk by Richard Barnes - The Idea of the Garden (History of Landscape Gardens over the Years).
2nd April: Talk by Diane Nichol-Brown of Polemonium Plantery - Making a Garden. Includes plant sale.
7th May, 6pm: Plant Propagation with Heather Russell at Bolam Cottage.
4th June, 6.30pm: Visit to Margie Jackson’s garden at The Old Vicarage, Hexham Road, Heddon on the Wall.
2nd July, 6pm: Potato weigh-in at The Manor House greenhouse, and propagating cuttings with Guy.
August: No meeting.
10th September, 6.30pm: Visit Kate Norris of Northumbrian Flowers, Little Harle Walled Garden, nr Kirkharle.
Saturday 21st September, 11am - 5pm: Whalton Village Show. There will be a category for gardening club members to enter their pot grown dahlia plant.
Thursday 3rd October, Time TBC: Evening Workshop with Anna Turnbull of Biteabout Arts. Willow weaving.
Thursday 7th November: Talk by Chris Parsons, Head Gardener at Lorbottle Hall (New NGS garden open on 9th June): Plant Hunting in Nepal.
28th November, 6.30pm: Christmas Wreath Making with Jane. Meeting at the earlier time of 6.30pm to allow time to be creative and have a Christmas drink!
